Designed for experienced poets as well as those just starting out, this 3 1/2 hour workshop explores the many ways it is possible to produce a unique and evocative poem. There will be fun and inspiring exercises that investigate various mixes of narrative and lyricism, tips and tricks to enliven your work with vibrant phrases and unusual juxtapositions of words, and an opportunity to workshop your own one page poem with feedback from your tutor and the group. Tutor Judy Johnson Judy is an experienced workshop leader and a prize winning poet. She has run this particular workshop before and received much positive feedback on how inspiring and useful the concepts were, even to accomplished poets. |
